At Barton Grange Garden Centre, we share your passion for the garden. We also love stylish living, great food and supporting local suppliers wherever we can. We’ve been around for nearly 50 years and we remain a family run business, committed to the traditional values of excellent quality and first-class customer service. 

Our gorgeous Garden Centre at Brock opened in March 2008. It’s easy to find on the A6 between Preston and Garstang and is surrounded by beautiful Lancashire countryside.

If ever a Garden Centre had the ‘wow factor’ this is it. From the moment you step into the houseplant department with its stunning gazebo, through to the fabulous outdoor plant area, you can’t fail to be inspired by our award-winning displays. You’ll find everything you need for your garden, as well as stylish ideas for your home.

Let’s start with plants though. Our outdoor plant area has a roof which closes when it rains, so you can shop for your plants whatever the weather. Many of our plants have been grown in our own award-winning nurseries, whilst others have been carefully selected from the best growers in Europe. All our hardy plants - trees, shrubs and climbers - are covered by our superb 5 year hardy plant guarantee.

Our expert staff can provide advice on soil requirements, how and where to plant, pruning and aftercare. Likewise, if you have any problem areas in your garden - a shady corner, perhaps, or certain type of soil - they can advise on the plants that will survive and flourish.

Maybe gardening’s not your thing and, instead, you think of your garden as an outside ‘room’. Well, we have everything you need to make that outside room every bit as comfortable as your indoor space. Our furniture, barbecue and chimenea ranges, together with lighting, outdoor artworks and tableware, mean you can entertain in true style.

Moving inside, we are bursting with ideas for your home. Lush houseplants, stylish home décor, artwork, furniture, floristry and soft furnishings – we have them all. We even have our own Cook Shop selling professional cookware and beautiful things for your kitchen. Our cookware ranges include Aga, Le Creuset, Jamie Oliver, Emma Bridgewater, Brabantia and Bodum to name but a few.

Then there’s our award-winning Farm Shop, with individually sourced local produce and fine speciality foods from the UK and beyond. The butchery is run by the prominent Preston-based and family-run ‘Honeywells Meats’, who source their meat from local livestock, and the mouth-watering bakery features our own cakes and puddings, baked right here on site, as well as a range from the locally renowned ‘Lathams of Broughton’.

We have a full range of fruit and vegetables, sourced from local growers wherever possible, beers brewed in the region, locally sourced mineral waters and a wide selection of pickles and preserves from local producers. For many of our customers, the Farm Shop really has turned ‘shopping for food’ into one of life’s great pleasures.

With so much to see, you may need to take a break and you’ll be spoilt for choice here. Our Riverside Café and Willows Restaurant serve anything from a quick coffee to a three course meal or traditional afternoon tea.

And last but not least, a message for the gentlemen – don’t forget to check out the toilets! They really are ‘blooming gorgeous’!
